SPECIAL COMMISSIONS:
The 2 videos below are not typical “animatics” like ones I would make for an animated TV series. They are mostly a series of drawn still images with some color, set to music or narration, with some more ‘animated’ moments thrown in here and there, as I was commissioned to do for these specific projects.
“Donnie Druthers’ Christoween Capers: Frankie-fied!”, 8:00, October 2020
Commissioned by voice actor Wally Wingert who wrote and narrates the story, this 8-minute fully-completed animatic (meaning finished drawings & backgrounds) shows the story of Donnie, a kid who combines his two favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas, into a new 2-month-long holiday called “Christoween”! He was inspired to do so after a surprise Christmas Eve visit from Frankenstein, who was filling in for his good friend Santa Claus who was home sick with the flu.
